Why I Eat I Eat So Much Last Night?

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

If you are asking yourself why I eat so much at night, I have some answers for you!

It is time to start with a damaging admission, I have failed at many diets. From Overeaters Anonymous to Weight Watchers, Slim Fast and Body for Life just to name a few.

At what time of day did these diets fall apart?

Nighttime

So what is the reason this happened again and again?

I am going to list a few of the main reasons why this happened and then we can search for solutions. We all know the beginning of the answer is in recognizing the problem. So the good news is you are half way there.

Top 3 Reasons why many of fail in our diets at night:

1. Too few calories during the day
2. Emotional low point = low willpower
3. Sugar cravings that gain momentum throughout the day and explode at night

How a low carb diet solved these issues for me

The beauty of a low carb diet is that it is not low calorie. So having that steak for dinner or the chicken with the skin meant that I had plenty of calories in my body. My body did not feel deprived so it gave my appetite a rest.

Most of our emotional issues at nigh with our diet is from eating lousy foods that we never would be caught eating if we where not on a diet.

Sugar cravings go away after about three days on a strict low carb diet. How many times was there one cookie that ended up in the whole box being eaten?

Was this my only secret that has helped me?

No!

What really helped was some writing I did that summarized exactly what I needed to do to win at my diet plan.

Would you like to get a copy of my summary?

The Razr And Motorola Cell Phones

Monday, July 27th, 2009

As Motorola Cell Phones attempt to perfect their cellular devices, the Motorola Razr is really a mobile phone produced just for the needs. Its light bodyweight and comfortable dialing pad makes it easy for anyone to make use of! Despite the fact that the Razr isn’t equipped with a keyboard, text messaging and surfing the web can be a really comfortable encounter on these GSM Cell Phones. The absence of the keyboard gives it its light bodyweight slick design. Because of its light fat, chatting on the cell cell phone is no longer a issue! While using Razr there’s no require to be concerned about calls dropping out on the bridge or inside the basement. Even though the high quality from the call typically depends about the server you choose to utilize (Sprint, AT&T etc.), the telephone you choose can make a great difference.

The Razr might not be loaded with tons of applications and a touch screen, but it makes up for it using the quality from the calls. Usually a telephone company relies and completely depends on their connection towers to help fertilize them, but unfortunately if the towers are filled up with too much frequency traffic it’s much more difficult just to receive a telephone call. If you’ve ever been dropped during an important business call or an important conversation having a relative, you know how annoying this may be. Phone quality can make all the difference between getting that job interview or not.

The Razr is one of the most ubiquitous clamshell form factor phones inside the world ever. First introduced back in 2003, they were an instant hit as Razrs provided basic mobile cell phone services for users on lower-rate calling plans. These handsets were also provided free or at a extremely, really low cost, further fueling their popularity. As advantageous as it may seem, they also has the strength to take a lot of damage without inflicting actual fractures internally.

At time, Razrs were quite fashionable, as they were very slim for their time (they are still fairly thin, all things considered), and Motorola and partnered carriers marketed them as exclusive electronics for a although. Over fifty million units were sold by the beginning of fiscal year 2006, and by 2007, after four years for the market, over a hundred and ten million. This milestone placed Motorola second only behind Nokia, and the phone created honorable mentions in many magazine surveys with the decade’s electronics.

The Razr2 was the successor, with improved sound high quality and an external touchscreen. Unfortunately, this model was judged too derivative, with Motorola failing to advance the state with the art in cellular communications. Thus the Razr line declined as a new generation of touchscreen smartphones from competitors gained increasing market share. Motorola reacted by slashing prices on what was once billed as a premium luxury handset, but this only lead to heavy losses for its mobile division from which it has yet to fully recover.

Philips Blue Ray The Solution To Resolution

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

For several many years now DVDs have become more well-liked than ever before, the result of this outburst produced DVDs and even CDs probably the most broadly used accessory for computers. Although DVDs were the best for your moment, different types of Dvd and blu-ray top quality transformed the opinions of thousands. Philips Blue Ray is 1 of the most commonly recognized suppliers creating Blue Ray Blank DVDs and media players. Luckily for them, they had the highest quality in hertz, watts, and resolution portraying the clearest films and videos. Amongst the most fascinating of Dvd and blu-ray topics is the fact that of authoring, the creation of content. This tenth installment in a series of articles will offer a fast glimpse at the landscape of Dvd authoring nowadays.

The very first truth of Dvd authoring is the fact that it’s distinct from MPEG encoding, even though almost all authoring applications now provide constructed in encoders. Separate, standalone encoders may possibly nevertheless be employed for great tuning and better quality, nevertheless. This kind of computer software is also unlikely to offer Dvd and blu-ray Audio authoring or encoding, getting devoted exclusively to movie. Note that some of the greatest offers may exclude good tuning and pitted encoding but it is not a technical issue.

Residence authoring of DVDs by the common home user is fairly basic to attain but simply can not supply the essential degree of manage found inside the proprietary deals used by market, which industrial strength software are generally regarded industrial secrets. Common consumer grade packages don’t conform as closely to official specs as commercial types, or possibly conform only in certain respects but not others. Nonetheless, there does exist some disagreement about the precise specifications simply because they have been created in Japanese while the different English translations abound in nuance.

Commercial grade authoring applications present varying understanding curves, but all are very steep when in comparison against commercially obtainable packages for regular users. Although software for your customer industry can take days to understand at most, individuals employed by market will actually take months of learning and practice. But even the distinction in sophistication that even now exist among customer grade resources and industrial strength kinds is becoming steadily blurred through the gradual acquisition of leading end technologies by individual computing businesses focused around the common public. And there now exists a variety of free and shareware utilities that may be downloaded, allowing anyone to produce easy DVDs or modify existing types.

It should be noted, nonetheless, that such software program will include limitations due to licensing restrictions or even the philosophical outlook from the programmer or programmers involved, with missing features like encryption and region coding rendering them unsuitable for mass industry use. Titles of this sort include Digital video disc Flick, DVDStyler, AVStoDVD, QDVD, DeVeDe, and Dvd and blu-ray Slideshow, which all take place to be open source software. In the opposite finish are the best finish packages of Sonic Dvd Creator and Sonic Scenarist. Professional studios may possibly also use Sonic DVDit Pro, Adobe Encore, and Apple Dvd Studio. Popular home authoring packages are Pinnacle Studio, Ulead Dvd Movie Factory, and even Windows Dvd Maker. But no matter the software application(s) utilized, Dvd authoring is an eminently viable choice for all today.

Measuring Your Business Success

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

The first major step in any business is getting started. Forming a new business is an exciting, dynamic and very satisfying endeavor in the beginning. There is a lot of energy at this stage because of the numerous factors that go into your new business venture. Once that part is done, however, there is another process that may not seem as exciting but is just as important. The next step is to measure the success of your new business. Your business idea may be stellar, and your research can be right on the money, but if you don’t take the time to measure your results once you have been in business for a while then you could be doomed to fail.

Essentially, by measuring your success you are able to see if you are doing the right things and implementing your business plan effectively. You need to measure the business processes that you started out with in the beginning to determine if they are still working. But how do you know what to measure and how to measure it?

The very first thing you have to do is define your business by what it does and what you as a business owner wants to achieve. That way you will know if you hit the goal or not. Setting up definable goals will make measuring a whole lot easier. For example, if your company is a restaurant and your goal is defined to “provide a great dining experience for people,” then that is hardly a measurable item. Now, if you add to that statement, “provide a great dining experience for people by making an American breakfast and lunch menu second to none in the region.” That has some substance to it. Now there can be appropriate goals and plans made around that. All choices related to food, staffing, advertising, and location can be made very clear. Once it comes time to measure what’s working it will be clear if there are areas that need more attention.

Once you’ve defined the goals for your company and have been working towards them for a while, then you can start measuring. One of the major things a business needs to measure is its profit. There needs to be a good system in place to track all the income and expenses that are incurred throughout a specific period of time. Business owners who are loose with their numbers might not be getting all the profit they could. You need to have an organized record-keeping system to make sure things are staying on track. Just because you took in $10,000 in new sales in one month doesn’t mean you get to keep it all! Make sure that you have a very detailed way of tracking expenses and income on all levels. This will allow you to see if your money is doing the most it could.

So if you have a great business and you want to keep it that way, make sure to measure your success as you grow. Believe me, you won’t regret it!

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

Also known as the Motorola CLIQ (in the USA), this frumpy-looking little mobile phone with its plain, grey appearance and rounded corners is actually better than it looks. It’s an Android smartphone with a slide out QWERTY keyboard which is powerful, responsive, and will suit those whose social integration ranks high in importance in their daily lives.

First announced in September and released in October 2009, the Motorola Dext is a Quadphone which works on both 2G and 3G. It measures 114 x 58 x 15.6 mm and weighs in at a fairly heft 163g.It features a landscape slide-out full qwerty keyboard with a 5-way navigation key and a large 3.1 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display, capable of showing 256k colours and 320 x 480 pixels. It comes complete with an Accelerometer sensor for rotating easily between landscape and portrait viewing, a proximity sensor for auto turn-off plus MOTORBLUR User Interface with Live Widgets.Alerts are the usual vibration or downloadable polyphonic, MP3 or AAC ringtones. It does have a speakerphone and the ever-useful 3.5mm audio jack. Use your headset or cans to enjoy loaded music, but do not expect to be able to listen to the radio – because it has none.

What it does have, however, is a whopping 1GB internal storage with 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. Storage can be boosted up to 32GB by means of microSD card – it comes with 2GB included in the package.Data Handling is by means of Class 12 EDGE and GPRS at 32-48 kbps, and on 3G, HSDPA at 7.2 mbps. In terms of capturing your social life on film, the 5MP camera with autofocus will take an image 2592 x 1944 pixels in size and video in HVGA mode at 24fps (MP4). There is no secondary camera. It does feature Geo-tagging.Under the bonnet you will find a Qualcomm 528 MHz processor, controlled by the Android v1.5 (Cupcake) operating system. It handles messaging by SMS, MMS and Email, surfs the net with an HTML enabled browser, and can play games. The handset comes in colours: Midnight Titanium and Winter White.Yes – it does have GPS – with A-GPS support – Google Maps with Street View and a digital compass.

Other features include Noise Cancellation with a dedicated microphone, and plays files with the formats of: MP3/eAAC+/WAV/WMA9 and MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV9. It also has an Organiser, Document Viewer, Shazam, iMeem Mobile, Voice Memo and T9 text input.

The standard Li-Ion 1420 mAh battery allows up to 320 hours on stand by and up to 6 hours talk time.We liked:

Support for Android Apps, the comfortable QWERTY keyboard and responsive touchscreen.

We didn’t like:

In the day and age of designer phone-wear – this handset is a little ‘grey’ and unexciting in appearance – it also feels a little flimsy in build quality. It does not have a radio.High feature phones are great but they can easily be outdated and most of all they cost a lot higher. You can however cut some price back through cheap mobilephone line rental deals and even get a Motorola Dext MB220 with free gifts.

Intel’s Newest Creation Moblin Makes Browsing Easier

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

Siemens Cell Phones No Contract gradually promoted its No Contract Cell Phones for the benefit of its users on the computer. The computer chip maker, Intel, is now making an attempt to stake its claim in the 3G Cell Phones / smart phone industry. They are alleged to be making an open source OS for mobile devices known as Moblin, expecting to branch out of its regular business confines of microprocessors. It is only one of many PC and web based corporations that is now attempting to get in on the smart phone revolution.

Moblin, which stands for Mobile Linux, offers panel-based navigation to browse running programs, widget based social networking applications as well as a Firefox browser. Intel will allow programmers and developers write programs which will work on multiple platforms as well as differing types of computers.

The idea behind the Intel company move is to break into the cellular industry because as 3G Cell Phones become more the standard for accessing the web it becomes urgent that these once top of the line PC and software makers aren’t left in the dust of more recent leading edge corporations. This marks a stretch in the industry in which software makers must make the leap, whether they’re keen on it or not, into the smart phone industry. Unavoidably here’s where the computing industry is heading. Utterly, no. Computers and desktops are as popular and as essential as ever but to think a company can kick back and watch others take charge of the growing 3G cell phone / Smartphones industry is simply ludicrous.

This industry is a money maker and a place where firms can show off inventive creativity and become quite experimental. But people who do not get on board shortly I fear will never get another opening to take part. It’s good to see these corporations eventually testing the waters, and it’s excellent for us consumers, more competition between the corporations and likely better products, too.

Yes, it is the innovativeness and the contest between companies that should make clients happiest. When more firms like Apple, Microsoft, Google and Intel get into the mix the more ideas are shared and the better products are produced. The technology geniuses that are now competing for our business, and the sole way to get that business it make the best products available. So permit the creativity take over while we simply select which we like best. I guarantee by the end of the present year we’re going to see things on smart phones that we never thought possible . Remember that. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so.

Are You A Rubber Stamping Hobbyist? Then Read These Fun Facts

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

Rubber Stamps have an interesting history for those who don’t know that they might have been inspired by dentures. Yes, it’s true: dental dentures! But first, some background, as Charles Goodyear had to discover the process of vulcanization. This is the process of “curing” the rubber so that it can be molded as required. Before Mr. Goodyear’s invention of the vulcanization process, rubber — in its natural state — was practically impossible to work with. It is sticky and would not stay set in any one particular shape. But with vulcanization, rubber, once cooled, would hold the shape in which it had been molded.

Unhappily, poor Mr. Goodyear never did benefit financially from his invention, though he was publicly recognized by the Emperor of France, Napoleon himself, and prestigiously decorated with many honors. His invention, however, would go on to find many applications that were to soon change the world. One of these was dentures. Rubber was deemed to be a great substitute material for the dentures of the day, which were often made of metal or even wood.Dentists had long been making their own dentures, and one of these many dentists had a curious nephew who realized the potential of rubber and eventually wound up producing rubber stamps for the U.S. Postal Service. The nephew was Mr. James Woodruff, is often credited with having invented the quality rubber stamp as we know it today. But there are, actually, several accounts of how rubber stamps came to be, depending on exactly how a rubber stamp is defined, with one even stretching all the way back to the ancient Mayans! This version just presented is among the most widely accepted accounts for the marking devices which we today would most immediately recognize as being a rubber stamp.

Another widely popular and acknowledged account of the invention the rubber stamp involves a Mr. L.F. Witherell, who went so far as to compose “How I Came to Discover the Rubber Stamp,” in which he claimed to have been inspired during work as a foreman at a wooden pump manufacturing facility. According to Mr. Witherell, there was a problem one day with the paint that was used for the pumps. The paint would run and obscure some necessary information. Mr. Witherell happened on the notion of making stencils from some of the thin sheets of rubber packing laying about. But as he made the stencil he decided to simply create thick letters out of the rubber and glue them to a backing of wood, by which repeated impressions of the necessary marks could be produced.

The one account thought least plausible involves a Mr. Henry C. Leland, who was actually championed, ironically, during his time by none other than the “Stamp Trade News,” published by a manufacturer of rubber stamps. But no mater its actual origins, there can be no doubt that the rubber stamp itself has left quite an impression on all our lives.

Cellular Phones versus Cordless Landline Phones

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Before the mobile telephone but long after smoke signals, there were cordless telephones, a land line with a cordless handheld handset. Cordless telephone conversations are made over radio waves transmitted between the phone’s base and the cordless handset. Communications between the base station and a handset is sometimes limited, with complete signal loss between the different floors of a building not so uncommon.

The base station itself is connected to a fixed phone line like standard telephones and draws power from a wall outlet. It is this base station that continues to differentiate between a cordless telephone and cell phones (which do not need a base station), no matter the great technological increases of cordless telephone units. Nowadays you can even find some cell phone-like features in corldess house phones.

While they have certainly come a long way, when cordless telephones were introduced to the market the devices were not very reliable and rather expensive. Not only was the operational range rather limited with poor quality sound, but there was no real security or privacy because signals could be easily intercepted by other cordless telephones in the area due to the limited range of channels available. It took about 10 and a half years so that cordless telephones can become familiar household items, with the opening up of the frequency range to nine hundred megahertz heralding the arrival of DSS technology.

These two technical innovations resolved the matter of eavesdropping, allowing cordless telephones to take off as favored products. Though cellular telephones are ubiquitous and here to stay, enough still keep landlines in their houses so that cordless telephones remain a profitable business, with new models introduced reasonably frequently. When selecting a cordless telephone, the very first thing to bear in mind is security : these phones are basically radio transmitters and thus subject to eavesdropping, though nowadays requiring a reasonably high level of technical class to do so successfully. In this respect make sure to choose DSS technology, at the 2.4 gigahertz frequency at a minimum (less than that is less secure while any more impinges on battery lifespan ).

This brings us to the only other major issue: battery lifespan. Avoid using nickel-cadium if at all possible because such battery types have a memory effect unless they are fully drained before recharging. Apart from these two issues, the rest of a cordless telephone’s features are completely up to personal taste.

Apple Dominates Once Again

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

MetroPCS Cell Phones No Contract became one of the most extraordinary firms in No Contract Cell Phones history but unable to comply against the bone crushing iPhone. The iPhone is a top-tier smartphone, no doubts about it, with the help of ATT Cell Phones. While a bunch of competition has come into the smartphone picture, a world that was once controlled by the iPhone, ATT cell phones and Blackberry cell phones, it still appears as if the iPhone is a market favourite. Imitation is the best sort of flattery, and the iPhone has had lots of that, but who desires flattery when you’re phone is boasting some of its best number to date?

Yes, a day before Apple was set to expose its new computer, they set a record for fourth quarter profits. Apparently they sold 8.7 million iPhones in the quarter. That is’s more than they sold in all of 2008! The companies’ quarterly profit climbed from 2.3 billion a year back to 3.4 billion this year and the total income between the 2 years went from 11.9 billion~ to 15.7 billion bucks. These numbers proved enough to be their best quarter ever and if the tablet does well, things might continue getting better. It’s fantastic that a computing giant went from strictly producing PCs right into the world of cell phones with the help of ATT Cell Phones, and in the problem of 4 or 5 years. But it is’s not that cut and dry, no this company revolutionized the cell phone industry with applications ( also known as applications ) small programs that may be downloaded to the device for a tiny fee or free, that can go from cooking instructions to music trivialities. They also brought the patent protected multi-touch screen to the table, a feature where, with 2 fingers, one can zoom in or out on the touch sensitive screen. These are the small things that are making the huge difference for the company at this juncture.

It’s truly incredible the inventiveness that comes with this company as well as the design schemes. It’s all so clean and exquisite, and the functionality simply can’t be beat. But to top it off, their innovation has rubbed off onto other corporations leading to more creative and out of the box thinking, and so, giving the customers better products, more frequently. Yes now Blackberry and ATT Cell Phones have rethought some of their concepts and companies like HTC, Google and Samsung have all stepped out into this new arena of smartphone expertise, giving way to healthy competition and brilliant products. Occasionally all are inspired when one gets the metaphorical light bulb turn on in the head. And we cannot be happier about it.
